Bhoot is a striking 6-year-old Collie Kelpie cross with a keen, intelligent gaze and a coat that hints at his active lifestyle. He was adopted from Protecting Preloved Border Collies five years ago and has been a loyal, loving companion ever since. Bhoot’s personality shines through in three words: anxious, loyal, and intelligent. While he can be a little wary at first, his intelligence and curiosity quickly make him a favourite among both humans and furry friends.
Life at Rags & Bert’s
Bhoot loves every visit to Rags & Bert’s, especially when he’s booked into the Dog Hotel. Unlike traditional kennels, he thrives on spending his stay enjoying the daycare sessions, full of play, exercise, and socialisation with his pals, something his family really values. The moment Bhoot realises he’s arriving, his excitement is clear: he starts barking and howling in the car, practically counting down the steps to fun!
He’s made plenty of canine friends over the years and particularly enjoys being active, playing, and running until he’s completely tuckered out. His family often shares how Bhoot falls asleep on the way home, snoring contentedly - proof of the incredible care, attention, and enrichment the team provides.
Bhoot has also experienced the Grooming Pod during his stays, where he receives full grooms as part of his boarding package. While he usually doesn’t know he’s being groomed, his coat is always left looking great, and the grooming process is handled carefully to suit his needs.
The communication and updates from the team are a real comfort to his family. Postcards and messages show him happily playing with his friends, reassuring them that he’s enjoying every moment.
