Add your card securely
To allow Rags&Berts to make card payments on your behalf, then the setup of your Card needs to be done securely. Rags&Berts uses this functionality to process payment for Scheduled Daycare and to pay for your daycare, grooming or boarding bookings on your behalf.
Customers can add a Card to their account securely:

The journey is slightly different in each option
Kennelbooker App
The KennelBooker Pet Parent App is in the App and Play stores.
- Once downloaded use RAGS&BERTS in the first screen to link to your account.
- The email address is the one you currently have booking confirmations sent to.
- Sign in and then press the … more in the bottom left corner
- Click the blue Credit / Debit Card screen
- Press blue Add New Card

- Sign in and then press the three lines icon in the top right corner
- On the pop-up / slider press Credit / debit Cards
- Press the blue Add New Card button

Adding the Card
Using the app or the portal this part of the journey is the same. You need to provide:
- Your Name on the Card
- Long 16-digit Card Number
- Expiry Date MM/YY
- 3-digit security number (CVV2)
- Press SAVE CARD NOW
At this point, our third-party payment provider STRIPE will take control and activate the authorisation with your bank.
I have shown the journey with my card in Halifax (no security data is shown). Your bank will have a similar journey

- The card details will identify your Bank or Payment Provider and will ask permission to start the journey.
- Log in using your credentials to your own Bank (not shown)
- The Authorisation should be waiting for you when you log in
- There will be a ‘Please Authorise’ screen
- Once authorised, you can close your Bank or Payment App (not shown)
- Returning to KennelBooker will confirm the card has been added
If there is an issue at any point, the card will not be added.
Press ADD NEW CARD again to restart the journey
