meet Bailey Bean
Welcome to our very first doggy profile, where we shine the spotlight on the wonderful dogs (and their humans!) who make Rags & Bert’s such a special place. Meet Bailey, affectionately known as Bailey Bean — a lively, water-loving show Cocker Spaniel who’s been part of our R&B family since he was a puppy!
ABOUT BAILEY
Bailey just celebrated his 3rd birthday and is one of six siblings. When he was born, he weighed just over 4 ounces — hence the adorable nickname “Bailey Bean.”
He’s known for his excellent temperament, excitability, and for simply always being happy.
The Grooming Pod Highlights
Bailey enjoys a full groom when he visits and sometimes treats himself to a spa session too! Although he loves bath time (this boy is water mad), he’s not the biggest fan of having his nails trimmed - but a big shout-out to Sophie, who does an amazing job making sure Bailey looks and feels his best. After a good groom, Bailey is just as joyful and bouncy as ever!
Dog Hotel Adventures
As a lifelong Cocker Spaniel owner, Bailey’s owner Angela, has seen her fair share of kennels, yet she chose Rags and Bert’s because of how we socialise the dogs, making sure they aren’t just sitting in kennels all day. Bailey has made plenty of friends here, both canine and human. We especially love that he now helps welcome new doggies and show them the ropes at the hotel.
Whether he’s chasing bubbles or playing with the hose, Bailey’s love for water is legendary. Over the last two years, Bailey has stayed with us about ten times, and Angela tells us she’s always thrilled to receive photos of him having a blast with his pals while she’s off enjoying her own holidays.
Final Thoughts
Bailey and his owner both love the R&B staff, the spacious play area, and the cosy kennel where he relaxes at night. Despite living 45 minutes away, Bailey is always eager to come back for his next holiday. As soon as they arrive, he’s off to see his friends without even looking back!
