George has never let anyone trim is dew claws and we’ve always had the stress of getting him partially sedated so the vet could do it - thanks to Sophie we now don’t have to bother as she’s managed to do it for us! "Rags & Bert's recently upgraded their grooming service. The Grooming Pod by Sophie is a fantastic grooming service. I couldn't be happier with the monthly service and treatment my dogs receive. Sophie has lots of experience, with nervous dogs to first timers and pups, is super friendly and is a great addition to the Rag and Bert's team. We love the "postcards" from the Grooming Pod which always make us smile. My dogs have been going to doggy daycare for many many years now, having this service while they are attending daycare is super convenient and the prices are competitive comparing to the general grooming market. Trusting my "babies" not only to be cared for by the skilled team in daycare but to have the same care for grooming is a blessing, and peace of mind. Thanks to the ENTIRE Rags & Bert's Team.

We are in debt to Rags & Bert's. We were very fortunate that they helped us with Cheeko. Cheeko is a Mastiff that came into our rescue because he was at risk of euthanasia. We had no space but the guys at Rags stepped up and helped us keep Cheeko safe by caring for him whilst we found a permanent foster home. In total they cared for him for three weeks. They were absolutely fantastic and the staff could not have been more caring if they had tried. Cheeko loved his stay. "Our Labrador started Daycare at Rags and Bert’s the second day they opened over eight years ago and is still enjoying his days there. Burt is quite nervous at times but the team understand this and look after him very well. Five years ago Ava, another Labrador joined our family and as a puppy she enjoyed her time at Daycare and still goes but on an ad-hoc basis. Both Labradors have a great time when Boarding and we can enjoy our holiday knowing our dogs are being well looked after and having fun. We really appreciate the photos being sent to us showing our dogs having a lovely time. "Like many dogs, our Leonberger isn’t keen on going to the groomers! But in Sophie we have found someone who is very respectful and responsive to our big girl. She will only go as far as tolerated and always follows our wishes. She recommended 5 weekly grooms to try to get our girl more used to the process and we think that is working. Sophie goes beyond what she ‘has’ to do by enlisting help from another member of staff when necessary, accommodating us when she’s flat out and communicating personally with us. We 100% recommend her!"

"A really big part of me does not want to leave this review as Sophie will get even busier!
Sophie is the first groomer to really listen to what we would like, and definitely don’t want I.e Murphy is more sheepdog then poodle and so we do not want to whole poodle blow dry, and everything we asked Sophie did brilliantly. Even inside his ridiculously hairy ears (the vet asked us to get Sophie to keep his ears as clear as she made them!
Main thing is that Murphy likes Sophie, happy to go in. Delighted when he comes out (in a good way.) 
Gets busy so best advice is get booked in advance!
Thoroughly recommend, Rags & Bert's struck Gold with Sophie and The Grooming Pod!"

"I just wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for looking after our beloved spaniel, "Blue," during his stays at the hotel. It means a lot to us knowing that he is being well taken care of when he's away from home. We've noticed that he seems to genuinely enjoy his time there, despite returning home for the weekends. Initially, he seemed a bit lonely and subdued, but on his subsequent visits, he appeared to be familiar with the place and looked forward to returning.

Receiving the postcard from R&B to update us on his well-being was a thoughtful gesture. It's clear that he's much happier there than at the previous kennel, as he returned home clean and in good spirits. I'm truly impressed with R&B and wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services in the future.

During his last day at the hotel, I arranged for him to receive grooming, and I must say he looked exceptionally smart and well-groomed. I'm genuinely impressed with the grooming services as well and would definitely consider booking him in for grooming there again. Thank you for taking such good care of Blue."

"Murphy goes to Rags & Berts on Fridays. He seems to know it’s Friday and once we say ‘shall we go to Rags & Bert's?’ he does not leave my side! We know he is saying C’mon let’s go! He is as excited to meet his humans there as he is to meet his friends! The staff are incredible and greet him like a friend which allows leaving him there wonderful! Once home he sleeps like a dog who has had the ‘Best Day Ever’ every time. He’s been there on Fridays and ad hoc for over a year, so this year he is there for 11 days when we go away.
